1/3 CUP SUGAR
¼ TSP SALT
¼ CUP BUTTER
FILLING
¾ CUP KARO SYRUP ( I MIX DARK AND LIGHT TOGETHER)
1/3 CUP BROWN SUGAR
2 LARGE EGGS
2 TBLS FLOUR
1 TO 2 TBLS BOURBON
1 TSPVANILLA
2/3 CUP CHOPPED DATES
½ CUP CHOPPED PECANS
MIX CRUST, PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREE’S. LINE 9 X 9 PAN WITH PARCHMENT PAPER.
MIX UP CRUST IN FOOD PRCESSOR, THEN PRESS DOUGH INTO BOTTOM OF PAN. BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES.
THEN COOL
MIX FILLING WHILE CRUST IS BAKING. WHISK TOGETHER FIRST 6 INGREDIENTS, THEN STIR IN REMAINING 2. POUR INTO COOLED CRUST AND BAKE AT 35O FOR ANOTHER 30 MINUTES.
TEST WITH A TOOTHPICK TO MAKE SURE IT COMES OUT CLEAN.
